The English actress, television producer, and writer Pheibe Mary Waller-Bridge has become known as the head writer, creator, and star of the tragic-comedy Fleabag.
On Friday, Disney announced that the star will play alongside Harrison Ford in the fifth episode of the Indiana Jones franchise.
There were no details of the character announced in the announcement. However, this role will be an iconic title to which the actress can say she got a chance to be a part.
In 2018, the actress/writer also made an appearance in “Solo: A Star Wars Story.”
Furthermore, she is a credited writer in “No Time to Die,” an upcoming James Bond Movie.
On Friday, Disney also announced that John Williams, who was in the “Raiders of the Lost Ark, ” will return in the new Indiana Jones Movie.
The movie’s executive producers will be served by Steven Spielberg, Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, and Simon Emanuel.
In a statement, James Mangold, the director, said:
“I’m thrilled to be starting a new adventure, collaborating with a dream team of all-time great filmmakers. Steven, Harrison, Kathy, Frank, and John are all artistic heroes of mine. When you add Phoebe, a dazzling actor, brilliant creative voice, and the chemistry she will undoubtedly bring to our set: I can’t help but feel as lucky as Indiana Jones himself.”
The movie will be released on 29th July 2023.
